We are looking for a talented School to Work – Logistics/ Industrial Engineering to join our Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems Team in Florence, KY beginning in January 2027. This full-time, onsite role provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing and operations initiatives while applying industrial engineering principles in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Drive Continuous Improvement by supporting process improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity throughout operations.
Analyze Operational Performance by collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support Manufacturing Excellence by assisting with workflow analysis, capacity planning, standard work development, and facility optimization projects.
Collaborate Across Functions by partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to achieve business objectives.
Apply Engineering Principles by participating in problem-solving activities and implementing practical solutions to operational challenges.
Contribute to Project Success by supporting project planning, execution, documentation, and presentation of recommendations to stakeholders.
Enhance Process Documentation by creating and maintaining reports, work instructions, and process improvement records.
