🚚 About the Role
The Supply Chain Team Leader is responsible for coordinating daily department operations, leading supply chain activities, supporting Supply Technicians, and ensuring efficient inventory management throughout the hospital and off-site locations.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✅ Coordinate facility supply chain operations in accordance with Orlando Health policies and procedures
✅ Lead daily workflow and provide guidance to Supply Techs
✅ Generate inventory, management, and operational reports
✅ Process product additions, modifications, and system file updates
✅ Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
✅ Monitor inventory discrepancies and report fluctuations
✅ Support receiving, requisitioning, order processing, charging, and crediting of supplies
✅ Conduct quality assurance checks and departmental audits
✅ Create and maintain employee schedules and department meetings
✅ Round with hospital departments to identify and resolve supply needs
✅ Perform basic system troubleshooting
✅ Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
✅ Maintain a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service
🎯 Qualifications
📚 Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree may substitute for up to two (2) years of required experience
- Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to four (4) years of required experience
💼 Experience
- Six (6) years of warehousing or retail experience, including receiving, inventory management, and stocking required
📜 Licensure/Certification
- None required
