Senior Account Manager – Captive Insurance

What the day will look like

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be a key member of a team servicing the financial and insurance needs of a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance companies. Your day will involve a blend of hands‑on accounting, client interaction and leadership of more junior colleagues, ensuring high‑quality delivery across your portfolio.

Responsibilities will include: 

• Providing accounting services to a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance companies
• Preparing management financial statements and management reports
• Supervising Account Managers, assistant accountants and administrators, and providing a first review of their financial statements and work product
• Coordinating financial statement audits
• Preparing for and attending board meetings, presenting financial results and key information to executives
• Preparing financial forecasts and budgets
• Reviewing and authorizing payments
• Analyzing and making recommendations on complex financial transactions
• Participating in ad‑hoc projects as assigned
• Demonstrating a willingness and ability to travel, as required

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA or ACCA) is required
• Proven accounting/audit experience, preferably in captive insurance or reinsurance
• Proven ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines
• High level of organization and proficiency with MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Salary and benefits

This role offers a salary in the range of USD 100,000 – USD 115,000 per annum.
