Johnson Controls is seeking a Territory/Domain Field Sales Rep 2 in Bogotá, Colombia, aligned to pay grade 170. In this role, you will help grow business across the assigned territory by building customer relationships, developing opportunities, and supporting the full sales process with strong follow-through and customer focus.
Role Overview
This field sales role is responsible for developing and closing opportunities, strengthening relationships with customers and Centers of Influence, and representing Johnson Controls through consultative selling. You will combine product and service knowledge with disciplined pipeline management, accurate paperwork, and post-installation follow-up to support customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full product and service line, along with customer needs, through training and research.
- Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence to generate and expand business opportunities.
- Develop, qualify, and close sales opportunities using a structured, customer-focused sales approach.
- Process work orders and complete paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.
- Conduct post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments were met and to reinforce customer satisfaction.
- Present solutions clearly and professionally to customer stakeholders and senior-level executives within customer and Johnson Controls organizations.
- Manage territory activity with attention to timely follow-up, accurate recordkeeping, and consistent communication.

- Work collaboratively across internal teams and external partners so the customer experience is coordinated and consistent.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to present to senior-level executives within customer and Johnson Controls organizations.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule.
- Available for local travel.
Nice to Have
- College degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.
- Consistent ability to meet and exceed quota.
