Your Opportunity
A leadership opportunity exists with Stantec for a highly motivated Senior Transportation Project Manager to join the Transportation group in North Carolina. This role will provide leadership and guidance to assembled project teams assigning tasks, checking work for accuracy and completeness and maintaining schedules.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projects.
- Planning and organizing the work of other transportation professionals.
- Lead the development of programs, project plans and drawings for various projects including bridge designs, bridge rehabilitations, urban and rural roadways, highways, and intersections.
- Act as project manager for select programs and projects ranging from small to potentially larger multi-discipline transportation planning and design projects.
• Assist in the development and strategy of design-build pursuits and final designs, as required by alternative delivery management.
• Develop budgets and monitor the work of assigned team to ensure quality objectives, budgets and schedules are met.
• Assist with business development efforts for marketing transportation clients, including meetings with potential clients, local conference attendances, and assistance with the preparation of marketing material including proposals.
