Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a geologist/hydrogeologist/engineer Intern to support our team of groundwater professionals. The position will assist in the completion of project level work to support environmental remediation and water resource projects. Primary responsibilities will be related to performing key tasks to support groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, hydrogeologic investigations, model conceptualization, remediation system evaluation, remedial design and maintenance, and statistical analysis of geologic and groundwater chemistry data.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Compile and manage field data to be used in project work.
- Assist with data analysis and data visualization using ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
- Assist with analyzing and interpreting environmental and groundwater data.
- Assist in geologic and hydrogeologic research.
- Collaborate with other scientific and engineering professionals within the practice.
- Assist in technical report writing.
- Compile data to use in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling.
- Assist in preparing soil boring log and well construction diagrams.
