Job Description

The Coordinator 2, Behavior Supports position supports the development and implementation of proactive data-driven behavioral systems that promote safe and inclusive learning environments for all students. This role works collaboratively with campus and district staff to implement MTSS/PBIS frameworks, build staff capacity, and provide target interventions that address student intervention, behavioral, and socio-emotional needs. The position ensures consistent use of evidenced based on practices, reduces reliance on exclusionary discipline, and improves student outcomes. In addition, this role interfaces with HISD leadership and manages the daily responsibilities of the team and ensures the delivery of high-quality continuity of care for students and school communities.
