Lead Registered Veterinary Technician

First Capitol Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team and play a key role in supporting our technicians, assistants, doctors, and hospital leadership. What You'll Do:
- Lead and support a team of veterinary technicians and assistants
- Help train, coach, and develop team members
- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to medical protocols
- Assist with anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, surgery support, and nursing care
- Partner with doctors and leadership to promote efficiency and teamwork
- Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture
- Serve as a resource and mentor for the clinical team
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.
Full-Time Benefits Package & Compensation*
- Compensation: $22–$26 per hour for each hour worked
- $2,000 bonus package
- CE Allowance: up to $1,000 annually, based on tenure

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Set:
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in good standing in the state of Missouri
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Previous veterinary leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A positive attitude and commitment to team success
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client service
