Position Summary
The Product Management Intern will support the team in developing and implementing marketing activities for Straumann’s portfolio of products and solutions.
This internship offers hands-on experience in brand and product management within the dental and healthcare industry. The intern will contribute to product launches, marketing campaigns, market and competitor analysis, and the preparation of communication and sales materials.
Working with Product Management, Marketing, Sales and other internal teams, the intern will help deliver projects in line with brand guidelines and business objectives. The role also includes providing administrative support for marketing activities,ensuring that related documentation, requests and follow-up are handled accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of brand and marketing plans across the product portfolio.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of product launches, campaigns and promotional activities.
- Contribute to the preparation and adaptation of marketing, communication and sales materials, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and company guidelines.
- Gather and analyse market, competitor and customer information to help identify trends, opportunities and relevant insights.
- Help monitor marketing activities, key performance indicators and business results, and support the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to help deliver projects on time.
- Support the organisation of meetings, workshops and other product or brand activities.
- Track project timelines, deliverables and follow-up actions.
- Maintain product and brand content and materials, and provide day-to-day support to the Product Management team as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Economics or a related field.
- Previous internship or academic experience in marketing, brand management or product management is an advantage.
- Fluent in Italian & English; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong interest in marketing, brand and product management, ideally within healthcare or the dental industry.
- Good analytical skills and an interest in market and business analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
