Job Summary:
As a MarTech VRO Manager, you will lead MarTech/AdTech transformation initiatives across capability assessment, platform strategy, solution design, implementation, and optimization. You will bring a Value Realization lens by developing business cases, defining KPIs, tracking benefits, and linking technology investments to measurable business outcomes. The role involves collaborating across marketing, technology, data, finance, and platform teams to drive adoption and sustained value. Exposure to GenAI and Agentic AI-enabled marketing solutions is an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct MarTech and AdTech capability assessments and provide recommendations to optimize technology stacks, marketing processes, operating models, and integration architectures.
- Assess current-state MarTech ecosystems and define target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, platform rationalization opportunities, and implementation priorities.
- Lead the design and deployment of agentic AI solutions within the MarTech ecosystem to drive Mktg. ops efficiencies, autonomous campaign optimization, content personalization, and customer journey orchestration
- Conduct vendor assessments and research new MarTech/AdTech systems and their Generative and Agentic AI readiness and scalability.
- Plan and design MarTech solution architecture, vision, and roadmaps.
- Gather business requirements and design processes and solutions for implementing marketing and advertising tools.
- Own the design and deployment of agentic AI solutions across MarTech ecosystem.
- Define modular, multi-channel agentic frameworks to orchestrate automated content supply chains, continuous experimentation, real-time performance optimization and media mix modelling.
- Partner with technology solution providers and marketing agencies to deliver tailored solutions.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise MarTech stacks including Adobe Experience Cloud
- Understand and convey the impact of data privacy regulations like CCPA and GDPR on marketing channels.
- Mobilize and organize marketing transformation projects across multiple stakeholders with strong project management skills.
- Develop and manage a team of digital marketing platform specialists, including hiring, training, and work allocation.
- Drive business development efforts and thought leadership in the digital marketing platform space.
- Define and optimize marketing processes and operating models across campaign planning, audience management, personalization, orchestration, measurement, and optimization.
- Develop business and value cases for MarTech transformation initiatives, quantifying benefits, investments, assumptions, dependencies, ROI, and expected business outcomes across revenue, conversion, engagement, productivity, speed-to-market, and cost efficiency.
- Define and operationalize value realization frameworks covering KPIs, baselines, targets, benefit ownership, measurement approaches, governance mechanisms, and alignment of platform investments to business objectives.
- Support pursuits and delivery by shaping “why change / why now” narratives, validating value hypotheses and ROI logic, tracking benefits, conducting value health checks, and identifying value leakage across adoption, capability deployment, data, and operating-model gaps.
- Drive corrective actions and continuous value realization by linking implementation milestones to adoption and business outcomes, while building reusable VRO assets such as business case frameworks, KPI libraries, value trees, templates, and measurement approaches.
- Evaluate the business value and implementation feasibility of GenAI and Agentic AI use cases focused on a defined business outcome.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with MarTech/AdTech Transformation, MarTech Assessment, MarTech tools such as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Campaign, AJO, Marketo, CDPs, Pega Decisioning, SFMC, Tag management platforms (GTM, Launch, Tealium), DMPs, Google Marketing Platform and cloud computing platforms along with future AI capabilities & features.
- Strong understanding of marketing processes, operating models, agent orchestration frameworks, API-based integrations, workflow automation tools and marketing technologies.
- Proven experience implementing AI-driven automation or agent-based workflows in enterprise marketing environments.
- Experience working in cross-functional global teams to scale AI-enabled marketing capabilities across regions (Highly Important)
- Experience building AI-driven personalization and automated journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer and Real-Time CDP
- Familiarity with Adobe Sensei AI capabilities and agents and extending them using custom AI/agentic frameworks.
- Knowledge of website/app and marketing analytics tools like AEP- CJA, Adobe Analytics Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, and Firebase.
- Strong understanding of value realization, business case development, benefits tracking, and ROI measurement in transformation programs.
- Ability to translate MarTech capabilities and platform investments into measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to define value trees, KPI hierarchies, baselines, targets, benefit ownership, and measurement mechanisms.
Additional Information:
- Proven working experience in digital marketing/advertising platforms across industries such as E-Commerce, CPG, Telecom, Healthcare, and Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of marketing technologies, including data, content, marketing automation, campaign performance management, personalization, and analytics.
- Experience in MarTech platforms and AdTech platforms strategy planning, data visualization platforms, and cloud platforms.
- Drive enterprise adoption of agentic AI capabilities to transform traditional campaign operations into autonomous marketing systems.
- Advise stakeholders on AI strategy, governance frameworks, and ROI measurement models in marketing transformation initiatives
- Deliver and execute on functional and technical design solutions, customizing where required, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, or Google Marketing Platform.
- At least 4-5 years of hands-on functional consulting experience preferably in Adobe marketing processes, campaign lifecycles, and integration with other MarTech platforms implementation with deep functional, industry and client facing experience
- Experience developing or contributing to business cases, value frameworks, KPI models, or benefits realization approaches for technology transformation programs.
- Experience working across business, marketing, technology, data, finance, and platform teams in multi-stakeholder transformation environments.
- Ability to support both pursuit-stage value articulation and delivery-stage value realization.
- Proven experience contributing to or leading RFPs, proposals, solutioning and business development.
- Good consulting, techno-functional and project management experience is preferred.
