Role Overview

As a Client Account Lead within Accenture’s Financial Services industry, you will lead strategic client relationships and drive sustainable growth across organizations operating in banking, insurance and capital markets.

You will bring together Accenture’s capabilities across our Reinvention Partners, including Digital Core, Industry and Enterprise, Supply Chain and Engineering, Finance, Talent, Song and Cybersecurity, to shape integrated solutions that address clients’ most strategic business priorities and deliver measurable value.

The role combines client leadership, commercial growth and delivery stewardship, requiring the ability to build trusted senior relationships, understand clients’ businesses and mobilize multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Account Strategy

Serve as a senior relationship leader for strategic Financial Services clients, developing trusted relationships with executive and senior client stakeholders.
Develop and execute account strategies aligned with clients’ business priorities, transformation agendas and evolving industry needs.
Build a strong understanding of the client organization, competitive environment and strategic priorities to identify areas where Accenture can create value.
Bring relevant Accenture capabilities, industry perspectives and innovation to clients to support their reinvention agendas.
Maintain strong relationships across the client organization and position Accenture as a trusted strategic partner.

Growth & Commercial Leadership

Identify, shape and progress opportunities that support sustainable account growth and long-term client value.
Lead or contribute to complex pursuits, including opportunity qualification, solution shaping, value proposition development, proposals, commercial discussions and negotiations.
Maintain visibility of account pipeline, revenue and commercial performance, working closely with relevant internal stakeholders.
Collaborate across Accenture’s Reinvention Partners to bring the right combination of capabilities to address client priorities.
Orchestrate Accenture expertise and ecosystem capabilities to develop differentiated, outcome-focused solutions.

Delivery & Client Value

Maintain senior-level oversight of work delivered across the account, with a focus on quality, client value and successful business outcomes.
Partner with delivery leadership to proactively manage risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations and overall client experience.
Act as a senior escalation point where appropriate and mobilize relevant Accenture capabilities to address complex client challenges.
Strengthen long-term client relationships through consistent delivery of value and a deep understanding of evolving client priorities.
Help ensure commitments made during the sales process translate into successful delivery outcomes.

Financial Services & Reinvention Leadership

Bring strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and the strategic, operational and technology issues shaping the sector.
Engage clients around relevant reinvention opportunities including digital core modernization, cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, customer transformation, operational transformation, finance and workforce transformation.
Connect industry insights with Accenture’s capabilities to help clients identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and enterprise reinvention.
Contribute to Accenture’s Financial Services perspectives, strategic client conversations and market presence.
Build strong internal and external networks that deepen Accenture’s relevance and relationships within the Financial Services market.

Leadership & Collaboration

Orchestrate multidisciplinary teams across Accenture to serve clients effectively and bring the best of Accenture to each opportunity.
Build an inclusive and collaborative environment that enables diverse teams to contribute and perform at their best.
Coach and develop colleagues while contributing to the growth of Accenture’s Financial Services community.
Collaborate effectively across industries, markets, Reinvention Partners and ecosystem relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

Significant experience in client leadership, account management, consulting, professional services, technology services or the Financial Services industry.
Strong industry knowledge across one or more Financial Services segments, such as banking, insurance or capital markets.
Demonstrated experience building and developing senior client relationships and translating client priorities into business opportunities.
Experience shaping and progressing complex transformation, consulting, technology or managed-services opportunities.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client business drivers and navigate complex commercial and stakeholder environments.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
Strong communication, negotiation and executive stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to connect industry challenges with technology, operational and business transformation opportunities.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with major Financial Services organizations and complex enterprise environments.
Knowledge of transformation themes affecting Financial Services, including AI and data, digital core modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, customer experience, operational transformation and regulatory change.
Experience bringing together business, technology and operational capabilities to address complex client priorities.
Experience operating within large, matrixed organizations and coordinating capabilities across multiple teams.
Experience working across the Middle East or other relevant international markets is advantageous where applicable to the position.
