Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our Nestlé Ireland Sales team on a 14 month fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the Vitaflo Ireland Platform Lead, you will be working directly with the Vitaflo product portfolio and a team of dietitians at Vitaflo’s Headquarters. Taking full responsibility for your territory, you will promote Vitaflo's product portfolio to a broad range of customers, including dietitians, consultants, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacies and patients.
This fantastic opportunity will be critical in driving sales of Vitaflo’s product portfolio, accelerating our existing customer base and establishing new business to drive profitable growth in your specific territory. The role is responsible for the promotion of the Vitaflo product portfolio managing promotional activities, and creating winning joint business plans.
Your impact
Working collaboratively with the internal Vitaflo team, you will be responsible for managing your individual territory, developing and executing exciting and impactful territory plans that drive business performance. You will provide valuable market insights and accurate forecasts, helping to achieve key business objectives and deliver sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate autonomy to manage journey plans, prioritise customer visits and meetings where the opportunities are to deliver against strategic imperatives taking a consultative approach
- Create and deliver territory specific strategy aligned to the strategic imperatives to win new business and distribution while delivering excellent execution in conjunction with brand campaigns and aspirations
- Full ROI analysis of all customer spend to ensure budget is spent in most effective way to drive profitable growth in line with the brand plans and business strategy
- Analysis of sales data and insight including order tracking and external data to feed into forecast assumptions and delivery of sales targets by customer and by territory.
- Deliver territory specific KPIs and be the key point of contact for Vitaflo customers within your territory
- Keep abreast of new products and category trends, technical services, market conditions, competitor activities, advertising, and other promotional trends through reading of pertinent literature and being aware of content on social media platforms.
- Plan and execute educational events for healthcare professionals and patients
- Plan and participate in conferences (IrSPEN, ESPEN, BAPEN, SSIEM), patient events and other company events as required. Travel outside of Ireland may be required.
Your ingredients for success
To be successful, you will already have some commercial experience within the healthcare industry/sector and ideally have previous experience within the Medical nutrition industry. You will be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment.

Essential skills:
- Degree qualification in nutrition, dietetics or science related discipline
- Experience within a nutrition, dietetics or medical nutrition based role
- Have a good understanding of financial management and KPI targets
- Be a self-starter who is driven to succeed
- Full driving license
- Challenger mindset – not afraid to challenge where and when needed, navigating complexity and providing clarity to stakeholders with clear recommendations
Desired skills:
- A working knowledge of the Vitaflo product portfolio is desirable
- Previous Territory / Regional Sales Management experience with good negotiation skills
- Experience of managing CRM and other internal dashboards
