Job Overview:

McDermott is seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Houston office and support the engineering and delivery of field instrumentation and mechanical package scopes for oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation projects. This role will develop and oversee key instrumentation deliverables, provide technical support for equipment requisitions and supplier coordination, and may lead defined scopes of work as an Instrument Requisition Engineer or Mechanical Package Support Engineer. The successful candidate will also provide limited support for automation deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, suppliers, and remote engineering offices, and apply their technical expertise to guide and mentor less-experienced engineers.

The Senior Instrumentation & Controls Eng applies in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices in the area of Instrumentation & Controls. They are responsible for solving complex Instrumentation & Controls problems and work independently with minimal guidance.
