Description:The role is responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical, electronics, and electromagnetism-based systems used in manufacturing processes and electrical components of manufactured products. The role assists in supervising the deployment, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical manufacturing systems and electronic devices, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance. The position supports engineering operations, including project coordination, technical assistance, budget tracking, and oversight of assigned technical activities. The role contributes to manufacturing quality assurance and control processes, helping resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and monitor finished product quality. The position strengthens operational reliability, compliance adherence, continuous improvement, and electrical system performance in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Essential Functions:
- Support design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and devices
- Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical manufacturing systems
- Monitor performance of electrical equipment and support troubleshooting activities
- Support engineering operations, including project coordination and technical reporting
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical assets
- Contribute to quality assurance and control processes to optimize system performance
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and issue resolution
- Maintain technical documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Support power distribution management, wiring, and cabling activities
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical efficiency
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
Additional Responsibilities: 1. To Operate Diesel Generators & Power Distribution System as per respective SOP’s. 2. To Record Daily Operation Log Sheet of DG Sets & Power Distribution System as per respective SOP’s. 3. To attend breakdowns of Utility Equipment’s (i.e. – Air Compressors, Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Stability Chambers, Elevators, Air Curtains, UPS, Digital Clocks, FLY-O-Cide) as per respective SOP’s. 4. To attend Breakdown of Power Distribution System Equipment’s (i.e. – LT PCC Panel, Power Distribution Panel, Transformers, DG Sets, HT Breakers, LT Breakers & LT Switchgears). 5. To perform Preventive Maintenance of Power Distribution System Equipment’s (i.e. – LT PCC Panel, Power Distribution Panel, Transformer, DG Sets, HT Breakers, LT Breakers & LT Switchgears). 6. To perform Preventive Maintenance of UPS System, Air Curtain, FLY-O-Cide as per respective SOP’s. 7. To perform Earthing Pit Testing & Maintenance activity as per respective SOP’s.
