The Role

As a Strategic Sales Director at Conveo, you'll own a focused book of the world's largest brands and turn them into our biggest partnerships. You'll land new strategic logos and grow them from first study into multi-market, multi-year programmes worth seven figures. You'll sell beyond the research team, into CMOs, product leaders, and the C-suite, positioning Conveo as the customer knowledge layer for the whole organisation. You'll work hand in hand with the founders, Customer Success, and Product on deals from $250K up to seven figures, with long, complex sales cycles. You’ll report to our EMEA Head of Revenue.

Your Mission

Land the World's Biggest Brands

• Own a named list of strategic Fortune 500 accounts across CPG, Pharma, Tech, and Financial Services.

• Build deep account plans: org maps, budget holders, strategic priorities, and entry points.

• Multi-thread from day one across insights, marketing, product, procurement, and the executive suite.

• Build and maintain 4-5x pipeline coverage on your book.

Expand Accounts Into $5M+ Partnerships

• Grow initial wins across brands, markets, and business units into multi-year agreements.

• Move the conversation from single studies to always-on research and an enterprise-wide knowledge layer.

• Partner with Customer Success to turn every early project into a proof point for the next budget holder.

• Run executive business reviews that tie Conveo to the customer's commercial outcomes.

Run Complex, Executive-Level Deals

• Lead consultative discovery and build compelling business cases and ROI tied to the customer's KPIs.

• Navigate large buying committees (economic buyer, users, procurement, legal, InfoSec) and own the mutual close plan.

• Negotiate and close clean, scalable enterprise contracts.

• Bring in founders and senior leaders at the right moments to win.

Be the Market & Product Expert

• Know the insights, marketing, and product world inside out, and speak the language of each buyer.

• Stay on top of competitor moves and market trends to sharpen messaging and win bake-offs.

• Provide structured feedback to shape roadmap priorities for enterprise customers.

• Maintain crisp CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.

What Success Looks Like

• New strategic logos landed, with clear paths to $5M+ in annual value.

• Existing accounts expanded into multi-market, multi-year agreements with rising ACV and ARR.

• Executive relationships (CMO, CPO, C-suite) in every account in your book.

• Accurate forecasts and healthy 4-5x pipeline coverage, quarter after quarter.

• Referenceable flagship customers and repeatable strategic plays we can roll out across the team.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of enterprise sales in Enterprise SaaS or Martech, with a focus on strategic or named accounts.

• Track record of closing and expanding complex, multi-stakeholder deals ($500K+ ACV, up to seven figures) with long sales cycles.

• Experience selling to and growing Fortune 500 accounts, including at C-suite level.

• Great if you have a strong network or background in market research, insights, brand, or consulting.

• High energy, self-motivation, and a relentless drive to win.

• Excellent communication skills: active listener, persuasive storyteller, and trusted advisor to senior executives.

• Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and structured deal methodologies (MEDDIC or similar).

• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, low-politics, high-standards environment.
