About the Role
We're looking for an AI-native Social Media Manager to own Creatify on X — and to be the creator behind the account, not just the operator of it.
This is a consumer role. Our audience is creators, marketers, founders, and everyday users who discover new AI tools on social. You'll set the strategy and execute it yourself, every day: original posts, threads, replies, memes, product moments, and real conversations with the community. X is the home channel, and you'll extend what works to LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and wherever our audience is moving next.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who already lives on X, already creates, and already knows how AI companies win attention. You won't wait for a content calendar to tell you what to post.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Mountain View, CA, or San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
Own X end to end: Define and drive Creatify's X strategy — content pillars, posting cadence, engagement approach, and growth tactics — and publish daily: posts, threads, replies, reposts, and quote posts
Be in the conversation, in real time: Monitor trends, launches, and cultural moments as they happen; engage authentically with creators, users, and industry voices, and jump in fast when Creatify has a genuine point of view
Create, don't just schedule: Produce original content yourself — short-form video, memes, demos, and hot takes — including appearing on camera when that's what the format calls for
Turn product into moments: Partner with product, design, and marketing to turn launches, features, and milestones into X moments people actually share, in the style of the best AI consumer launches
Build the creator network: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with creators, influencers, and advocates in the AI, video, and creator-economy space
Expand beyond X: Adapt winning content and build Creatify's presence across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, and emerging channels
Measure and iterate: Track performance (growth, engagement, and signups driven), report what you learn, and use data to double down on what works and kill what doesn't
Experiment relentlessly: Test new formats, hooks, and AI tools constantly — find what resonates, then scale it
Qualifications
Have 1+ years of experience running social for a consumer (B2C) brand, creator, or your own audience — with meaningful, hands-on X experience. This is a B2C role: B2B-only / enterprise marketing backgrounds are not a fit for this position
Are a strong creator yourself: you have a personal X presence you're proud of, with posts, threads, or videos that show you can write, hook, and grow an audience — not just manage someone else's
Are AI-native: you use AI tools daily in your own creative workflow, you're an active user of products like ours, and you study how leading AI companies do launches and community on social
Are active on X and other consumer channels every day because you love it — you understand X's culture, algorithm, and meme language natively, and you have sharp instincts for what takes off and why
Are outgoing and energized by people: you love replying, debating, hosting, and building relationships in public, and you're comfortable being a visible face of the brand
Write fast and well, with a voice that sounds like a real human — sharp, funny when it should be, and never corporate
Work hard and move fast: high daily output, real-time responsiveness, and full ownership without needing to be managed
Have sharp editorial judgment about when to engage, when to stay quiet, and when to take a swing
Bonus points if you…
Have grown an X account (yours or a brand's) from small to significant, and can show the numbers
Have had posts or videos go viral — and can explain exactly why they worked
Create short-form video natively on TikTok / Reels / Shorts, not just on X
Have experience at a high-growth AI or consumer startup
