Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Observing all environmental regulations, especially chemical handling and disposal procedures, while maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and safety.
Operating ware-washing equipment to clean china, silver and glassware and stacking clean-utensil racks in an organised manner.
Washing, rinsing and sanitizing floors, decks, drains, scuppers, ceilings, walls, worktables, counters and shelves.
Ensuring all kitchen and restaurant facilities and equipment are clean and in good working order.

Qualifications:

High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
Food Handler’s Permit

Work Environment:

The ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
