Your opportunity:
As a VBC Channel Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and accelerating Vodafone’s B2B growth strategy through our national partner network. This role is central to the success of our Business Centres – driving high-performance sales outcomes, building strategic channel capability, and ensuring alignment to Vodafone’s vision of delivering unmatched value to Australian businesses.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Vodafone Business Centres plus acquiring and recruiting new VBC partners, creating annual and quarterly business plans, and embedding a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and pipeline discipline. Your commercial acumen, leadership presence, and ability to influence outcomes will directly impact our B2B sales growth, customer experience and partner network success.
You'll make impact by:
- Managing existing Vodafone Business Centres (VBC’s) plus Partner Recruitment & Onboarding: Identify, attract, and engage new Vodafone business centre partners in alignment with geographic and strategic growth opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of annual and quarterly sales strategies with each partner to meet revenue, net add, and customer acquisition targets.
- Identify initiatives monthly to ensure performance and compliance is in line with targets and expectations
- Pipeline & activity Management: Drive disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting to ensure consistent sales performance and conversion.
- Performance Leadership: Mentor and coach partner sales teams to achieve and exceed performance KPIs; instill a winning culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
- Market Development: Identify local market opportunities, customer trends and competitive threats to inform partner strategies and Vodafone’s broader go-to-market approach.
- Commercial & Operational Oversight: Monitor partner compliance with commercial agreements, sales frameworks, and customer engagement standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with Vodafone marketing, product, operations, and SMB teams to enable partner success and seamless execution.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, partner/channel management or business development within telecommunications, ICT, or a related B2B environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience building and executing sales strategies that deliver revenue and customer growth.
- Demonstrated ability to create strong relationships, coach and influence indirect teams to high performance.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics, pipeline health and forecasting accuracy.
- Energetic, resilient, and outcome-oriented with a passion for empowering business customers.
