Veriswap is a marketplace for Sports and Pokemon cards, operating within the $10B+ sports card secondary market. We’re focused on creating a new swap economy because we believe the swaps market is 5x larger than the cash sales market for collectibles. Our mission is to empower collectors by enabling them to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere.
We’ve completed over $160M in transactions in just 3 years, with trades as large as $800K on the platform. We serve 120,000 users and the trading card market is at all-time highs, with $900M+ of cards sold in the last month.
Our founding team comes from Columbia (Ex Investment Banking) and Brown (ex-Google Engineering). Together, we are building something truly exciting and are looking for driven individuals to help shape the future of collectibles.
What Success Looks like
- Veriswap is going to run trade nights every 2 weeks in NYC / LA. You are on site and manage 100% of the process of Veriswap-hosted trade nights from end to end, and high value customers are acquired.
- You acquire big traders at major card shows (National, Fanatics Fest, Dallas, West Coast, Macau, etc), travel is roughly 1x per month to attend card shows, acquire customers, run trade nights, meet big traders.
- VIP users text you about an issue they have with a trade or an opinion about a card and they hear back within 15 minutes no matter the day or time.
- All of our top 100 users do at least 1 trade a month
Practical Expectations
- Work in person in NYC every day
- Maintain around the clock availability when customers reach out
- Travel 1x per month to card shows and work trade nights 2x per month
