As DI AUT in China adapts to a rapidly evolving market and accelerates its China Growth transformation, we are seeking a high-impact industrial automation professional to drive strategy execution, accelerate organic growth initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Digital Industries China.
You’ll make an impact by
1. Strategy Execution & Transformation**
- Translate Strategy into Action: Drive the implementation of China Growth 2.0 by translating strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, measurable business outcomes, and clear accountability across the organization.
- Performance Optimization: Actively track execution gaps, analyze performance metrics against local and international competitors, and propose pragmatic corrective measures.
- Bridge China & HQ: Ensure alignment, agile communication, and effective cross-functional collaboration between local China operations and global headquarters (HQ).
2. Organic Growth Program
- Cross-BU Execution: Drive the execution and governance of strategic organic growth initiatives across business domains, industry verticals, and sales regions, ensuring performance transparency, milestone achievement, and timely corrective actions.
- Market Insights & Opportunity Sourcing: Leverage deep market, customer, and competitive intelligence to identify high-value commercial growth opportunities and new business models.
3. Executive Office Partnership
- CEO Partnership: Support the DI AUT China CEO in critical strategic decision-making, management alignment, and the preparation of high-stakes executive meetings and board reviews.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Facilitate critical strategic initiatives and help remove structural or operational bottlenecks across organizational silos.
What You’ll Need
1.Industry & Professional Experience
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, ideally gained within industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, or top-tier management consulting (with a strong focus on industrial/high-tech sectors) at leading global organizations.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of China’s industrial automation market dynamics, customer ecosystem, and solid exposure to P&L drivers, commercial operations, or business transformation.
2.Strategic & Analytical Capabilities
- Hands-On Strategist: You combine sharp strategic thinking with a rigorous, analytical approach. You are willing to dive deep into operational details rather than staying on the surface.
- Result-Oriented Execution: Exceptional capability in turning complex, ambiguous business challenges into clear, prioritized, and execution-ready plans.
- Constructive Challenger: Armed with strong business judgment, you actively yet constructively challenge the status quo to drive real impact and continuous improvement.
3.Leadership & Cross-Cultural Competence
- Ownership: Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives, influence senior management stakeholders, and take end-to-end ownership of business transformation programs in a dynamic international environment.
- Executive Presence: High maturity, gravitas, and emotional intelligence to effectively influence senior stakeholders and regional leaders.
- Cross-Cultural Agility: Proven track record of bridging Chinese and international business environments, managing matrixed stakeholders with ease.
- Resilient Leadership: Excellent communication, resilience, and complex project management skills.
4.Other Requirements
· Education: University degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline; MBA/EMBA is preferred.
Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) is an absolute must for daily communication with global HQ.
