Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Giza, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. You will lead, motivate, and develop dedicated housekeeping teams while maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Coordinate and supervise housekeeping staff activities, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal team productivity and service delivery
- Organize and oversee the cleaning of guest rooms and common areas in accordance with organizational standards, quality benchmarks, and property-level requirements
- Establish and implement standardized work processes, cleaning protocols, and operational procedures to maintain consistency across all areas while driving continuous improvement
- Conduct regular quality inspections of housekeeping work, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to maintain high cleanliness standards across all facilities
- Foster a guest-centric culture by ensuring continuous guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and responsiveness to feedback
- Collaborate effectively with department heads, front desk personnel, and management teams to address guest concerns and coordinate interdepartmental initiatives
- Manage inventory of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and materials; monitor stock levels, place orders, and optimize resource utilization
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process for housekeeping staff; conduct onboarding and training programs to ensure competency and alignment with organizational standards
- Manage relationships with external staffing agencies and optimize labor costs while maintaining service quality
- Coordinate with laundry services and external vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery
- Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget; analyze labor and material costs to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards, workplace safety regulations, and proper chemical handling procedures across all operations
- Analyze operational metrics and performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve departmental goals
- Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development
- Resolve conflicts and address operational challenges with resilience, decisiveness, and transparency
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar leadership role in a hospitality or facilities management environment
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and effectively manage diverse teams
- Strong guest-centric mindset with a courteous, professional demeanor and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of precision and attention to detail in all work processes
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and strong stress management skills to handle operational challenges effectively
- Proficiency in budget management, cost analysis, and financial optimization within departmental operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene standards, workplace safety regulations, and proper chemical handling and storage procedures
- Proven experience with staff scheduling, workforce planning, and labor cost management
- Demonstrated ability to conduct quality inspections, implement quality assurance measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in vendor and supplier management, including negotiation and relationship building
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven capability in training, onboarding, and developing housekeeping staff to achieve performance standards
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement processes
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and metrics to inform strategic decision-making
- Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing operational needs and organizational priorities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive team environment
- Strong conflict resolution and performance management skills
- Preferred: Hospitality management certification or relevant professional qualification
- Preferred: Multilingual abilities to support diverse team and guest interactions

- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Egyptian nationality is accepted.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- V. Good in English, additional languages are a plus.
