Associate Account Manager (Based in Indore) - Your future position?

Purpose

As Associate Account Manager professional trained in assigned account management scope and key skill sets, with contributing and supporting responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Under supervision, grow Givaudan business with new accounts by managing top and bottom lines
• Scope new accounts, create contact and generate new opportunities
• Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
• Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information.
• Track Account Plans for key accounts.
• Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations.
• Identify/create opportunities/accounts for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs.
• Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission.
• Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist senior colleagues/managers in their day-to-day duties in order to develop knowledge of the organisation.
• Act proactively, suggesting solutions and offering help when needed. Identify trends and recommend proactive or remedial actions to manage business situations.
• Continued focus on learning about Givaudan's business, account management for self learning

Your professional profile includes:

Academic Background

• University degree (or equivalent)

Professional Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in any industry. Commercial experience advantageous

Technical Skills

• Verbal and written command of English and Hindi.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers.
• Project management skills.
• Communication skills.
• Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations.
• Basic negotiation skills.   
• Passion for the Fragrance Industry.

Customer & Internal Relationship Management

• Building relations with internal teams / functions and key stakeholders. 
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers.
• Identifies value drivers for key customers and understands how to position Givaudan offerings.

Business Fundamentals

• Understanding  of Givaduan's business models, products and business process
• Commercial Skills
• Negotiation skills
• Competent project management skills
• Develops and delivers compelling presentations

General Business Management

• Understands customer strategy, products ,  initiatives, priorities, and launch processes.
• Able to connect client requests with Givaudan offerings.
• Understands annual budgetary parameters and profitability principles.
• Uses KPIs to monitor performance and modify strategy and tactics.
• Captures and clearly communicates brief requirements.
• Understands Givaudan's brief process and functional interfaces.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.

Fragrance Business Management

• Olfactive knowledge and perfumery language.
• Knowledge of industry and customer regulatory requirements, including technical criteria and/or specifications.

Strategic Business Management

• Understanding Market and Competition.
• Building Knowledge of competitor activities with key customers.
• Managing Opportunity.
• Participates in projects to learn and generate new business.
• Learns and Develops basic Account Plans, incorporating comprehensive customer. knowledge and analysis.
• Knowledge of Givaudan pricing guidelines.

Communication

• Communicates effectively across functions and geographies
