Hiring Range: $85.00 to $91.00

Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Emergency Medicine team in Newport News, Virginia

Advanced practice providers will work in collaboration with physicians in caring for a wide range of emergency patients of all ages in multiple care settings.  Opportunities are available to participate in medical education, clinical projects and on various committees.

• 14 treatment rooms
• Trauma and resuscitation room

Riverside Regional Medical Center | Newport News

A 500+ bed Level II Trauma Center serving more than 78,000 emergency patients annually.

Highlights include:

• Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV Certified)
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation
• More than 40 private patient care rooms
• Two state-of-the-art trauma/resuscitation rooms
• 10-bed Observation Unit
• Extensive specialty support services

Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg

A state-of-the-art 40-bed hospital with a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

Highlights include:

• First Emergency Department in Virginia to receive the American College of Emergency Physicians Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation
• DNV Certified Primary Stroke Center

Riverside Walter Reed Hospital | Gloucester

A 67-bed hospital with an 11-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

Highlights include:

• DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center
• American College of Cardiology Certified Chest Pain Center

Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital

Located on Virginia's beautiful Eastern Shore, this modern 40-bed hospital includes a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.

Highlights include:

• DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center

Education

• • Nurse Practitioner- master’s in nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner License State of Virginia
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification

• • Physician Assistant - master’s degree
  • Physician Assistant License State of Virginia

Required

• • Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
  • Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration
