What is this role about?

If you're great at identity and compliance product work, you've probably already hit the ceiling of your current role: the architecture is built, ownership is split across a dozen narrow roles, and the job is tuning someone else's system inside a slow governance process, or applying AI automation on top of existing, antiquated operational practices.

As Senior Product Manager, Identity at Bondora, you'll own the whole stack and the platform that runs it, on a team you're building from the ground up. This isn't a maintenance function: Bondora operates across seven European markets and is pursuing a massive, multibillion-euro consumer credit opportunity. Every one of those markets runs on knowing who the customer is and whether we're clear to serve them, which makes this one of the most consequential systems in the company, not a back-office afterthought.

You'll build the policy and platform for KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and customer data privacy, and execute it alongside Legal, Risk, AML Operations, and Engineering, building one of the sharpest identity-and-compliance product functions in European fintech from the ground up. We build product-first and AI-first here: starting from what the problem actually requires, not automating whatever process already exists.
