Company Description
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager (f/m/x) to make Autohero a go-to brand for car people through content that entertains, builds trust and earns a place in their feed.
Based in Berlin and reporting to our Team Lead Brand Marketing, you will own our social presence across organic and paid channels. You will develop formats, create content yourself and build creator partnerships — combining a feel for car culture with the craft to turn ideas into content people watch, share and remember.

Job Description
- Build formats people come back for — develop distinctive concepts around car culture, technology and the Autohero experience, from hooks and scripts to recurring series
- Create and publish content yourself — own the process from idea to shoot, edit and publishing; lead social shoots with our in-house videographer and keep a consistent editorial rhythm
- Own creator partnerships end to end — scout relevant talent, negotiate collaborations, manage briefs, budgets and approvals, and bring creator content into our organic and paid channels
- Stay close to culture and community — spot relevant trends early, turn them into timely content and build relationships through comments, conversations and interactive formats
- Use AI to scale good ideas — accelerate ideation, production and localization while keeping real people, authentic stories and a distinctive brand voice at the center
- Own performance and keep improving — track reach, retention, shares, engagement and sentiment; use the results to refine formats and work with Brand and Performance Marketing on content that delivers
Qualifications
- You have grown social channels through strong content — show us formats, campaigns and results you personally owned, with a clear explanation of your contribution
- You are a hands-on creator — you can write a sharp hook, script a story, shoot and edit content, and adapt it to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- You understand car culture and internet culture — you spot relevant conversations and turn them into ideas that feel natural for the brand
- You know how to work with creators — you can identify the right partners, write effective briefs and manage collaborations from negotiation to delivery
- You combine creative judgment with analytical thinking — you understand why content works and use performance insights to decide what to scale, improve or stop
- You take ownership and move quickly — you organize production, collaborate confidently across teams and use AI to increase speed without losing quality or authenticity
