What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining a technology team focused on automation engineering and infrastructure operations, helping to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that support critical enterprise services. As a senior-level database automation professional, you’ll provide operational support for automation platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, and related orchestration tools across a complex infrastructure environment.

You’ll build, maintain, and enhance automation solutions that improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen operational performance across Linux, Windows, database, and infrastructure services. In this role, you’ll lead technical troubleshooting during production incidents, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and help mature automation support capabilities through better monitoring, alerting, and remediation.

You’ll also work closely with infrastructure, database, security, cloud, application, and operations teams to deliver effective automation services and support enterprise priorities.

How You'll Succeed

• Automation platform support - Provide senior-level operational support for automation platforms, including Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, and related orchestration tools, ensuring strong availability, stability, and performance.
• Automation development and maintenance - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks, roles, job templates, workflows, reusable automation components, and Terraform modules that support provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Infrastructure and service reliability - Monitor Linux and Windows infrastructure, Oracle and SQL database platforms, automation jobs, and supporting services to identify issues early and maintain operational health.
• Incident management and problem resolution - Respond to incidents, alerts, service requests, and problem records, perform root cause analysis for recurring issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce future disruption.
• Operational improvement and standardization - Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, standardize operational processes, and strengthen patching, compliance, vulnerability remediation, configuration drift detection, and health reporting.
• Collaboration, governance, and leadership - Partner with infrastructure, database, security, cloud, application, and operations teams, support change management and release planning, mentor junior team members, and promote strong standards for automation development, testing, documentation, and operational handoff.

Who You Are

• You have deep automation and infrastructure expertise. You bring strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise automation platforms, including Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, and related orchestration tools in a complex operational environment.
• You’re experienced in infrastructure operations. You have demonstrated experience supporting Linux and Windows systems, automation services, and database platforms such as Oracle and SQL, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and stability.
• You’re a strong technical problem solver. You can lead troubleshooting during production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across multiple teams while managing complex issues with minimal supervision.
• You know how to build with discipline. You develop reusable, well-documented automation solutions and value code quality, peer review, operational readiness, and consistent standards.
• You’re a collaborative leader. You work effectively with cross-functional partners and enjoy mentoring junior team members while helping teams adopt best practices in automation and operational support.
