As Global Lead, Brand & Consumer Insights, you will shape how Coty understands consumers and turns that understanding into stronger brands, sharper strategies and better business decisions across its European Color Cosmetics & Nails portfolio.
Working across iconic brands including Rimmel, Max Factor, Bourjois and Manhattan, you will lead the Brand & Consumer Insights agenda and ensure that consumer, brand, category and market intelligence sits at the heart of our growth decisions.
Reporting to the Global Senior Director, Brand & Category Insights, Consumer Beauty, within Strategic Business Operations, you will act as a strategic partner to Brand, Portfolio, Media, Commercial and Innovation teams, transforming insights into clear recommendations that strengthen brand relevance, optimize activation and unlock sustainable growth.

In this role, you will put consumer understanding at the heart of brand and business decisions across the European Color Cosmetics & Nails portfolio:
- Lead the Brand & Consumer Insights agenda, translating business priorities and growth ambitions into clear learning agendas and research roadmaps.
- Build a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand choice, category dynamics and market evolution to identify the strongest drivers of brand relevance and growth.
- Translate consumer, shopper, audience and market insights into actionable brand, portfolio and growth recommendations.
- Partner with Brand and Portfolio teams to inform positioning, propositions, pricing, packaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead consumer validation and learning across concepts, communication, activation and innovation, helping teams identify opportunities and de-risk key decisions.
- Strengthen brand equity and communication effectiveness by translating audience and cultural understanding into sharper messaging, creative development and brand experiences.
- Support innovation launches and commercial activation by connecting consumer needs with channel, retailer and market realities.
- Integrate multiple data and insight sources into clear, decision-ready recommendations, turning complexity into priorities and tangible business actions.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner across Brand, Portfolio, Media, Commercial, Innovation and Strategic Business Operations, championing consumer-centric and evidence-based decision-making.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You are consumer-obsessed, commercially minded and strategically driven. You are curious about what makes people choose, love and stay loyal to brands, but equally focused on turning that understanding into measurable business impact.
You combine analytical rigor with commercial pragmatism, and you know how to move from research and data to a clear point of view that influences decisions.
- 6–8+ years of experience in Consumer Insights, Brand Insights, Consumer & Market Insights, Brand Strategy or a related discipline.
- Experience within Beauty, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail or another consumer-centric industry.
- Strong expertise in consumer understanding, brand equity, audience insights and communication effectiveness.
- Proven experience using consumer insight to shape brand, portfolio, communication and go-to-market decisions.
- Ability to integrate consumer research, behavioral signals, cultural intelligence and market data into a clear strategic perspective.
- Experience leading learning and validation across propositions, concepts, communication, activation and innovation.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect brand and consumer decisions to business performance and growth.
- Excellent analytical, influencing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear recommendations.
- Comfortable partnering across Brand, Media, Commercial and Innovation teams within an international matrix organization.
- Experience managing external research partners and syndicated data providers.
