Senior Software Developer (m/f)

DP World, one of the world's leading logistics providers, is looking for a Senior Software Developer (m/f) to join our European Team in Poland.
The work location is flexible and depends on the candidate's preferences and place of residence.
In this role, You will work within the WiaB software development team currently consisting of 20 developers across Europe and North America, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager EMEA. You will communicate and partner with other teams within the business organisation to help deliver projects.
What you'll do
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for a global Warehouse Management System (WMS) used across multiple warehouses worldwide
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions delivered on time and within budget.
Support and enhance existing applications in line with agreed SLAs - Modernize and improve the UI/UX of web-based applications
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party client systems and business applications.
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Developer or Lead Developer working on large-scale applications
- Strong experience in web application development
- Strong database design and development skills, including working with large datasets
- Experience delivering software projects in a commercial environment
- Hands-on experience with Git or other source control systems
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile development practices
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and following change management processes
- Experience working independently and within global, multicultural teams
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL querying
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.

The role of a software engineer within development our team is to design, implement and manage our custom-built warehouse management system(WMS) driving DP World customers businesses in multiple warehouse facilities across Europe and North America. You will work with multiple teams across the business to deliver industry standard solutions for the WMS product, advancing its capabilities and modernising the UI\UX web application platform while also working on large scale integration projects with third party client applications for new and existing business.
