Work you'll do
As a Delivery Architect, Software Engineering Technical Solutions on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, build, and optimize user-facing web interfaces and backend API services for core TSS workflows.
- Integrate frontend, backend, and analytics services through REST APIs and platform SDKs, while implementing authentication, authorization, and data protections across the stack.
- Build and document reusable code, UI components, and API endpoints for scalable, long-term delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, DevOps professionals, and product owners to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of production systems.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, including 5+ years of experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) and PostgreSQL
- Experience in the government sector
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required, without the need for overnight accommodations.
- Ability to travel 0–10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Drools
- Experience with Spring Boot

This compensation range is specific to Dallas, TX and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $208,300.
