About this opportunity

Welcome to Securities Finance. The team supports Nordea Markets’ secured financing and stock borrowing and lending activities across products, markets and regions. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the continued development of our Securities Finance business.

You will work primarily with projects, analysis and development initiatives that strengthen our platform, processes and client offering. Your assignments may include business analysis, data-driven decision support, process improvements, regulatory and implementation projects, and collaboration with technology, operations, risk and other stakeholders. The role provides broad exposure to Securities Finance while being less focused on day-to-day trading and dealing.

The Securities Finance team is based in Stockholm and has international coverage across the Nordics, Europe, North America and Asia.

Your experience and background:

• Up to two years’ relevant work experience after graduating from university.
• Master’s degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering, management or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate conclusions clearly.
• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written – knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and project coordination skills.
• Advanced Excel skills are expected; programming, data analysis or automation experience is an advantage.
