NDE Engineer – Advanced Ultrasonic & Electromagnetic Inspection

NOV is seeking an NDE Engineer to support the development, evaluation, validation, and improvement of nondestructive inspection technologies for steel and tubular products.
This role combines hands-on NDT/NDE experience with engineering analysis, inspection technology, experimental testing, and data interpretation. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in ultrasonic inspection and experience with electromagnetic inspection methods, with particular emphasis on detecting flaws in steel, steel pipe, tubular products, or other metallic components.
The position will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, software, and operations teams to improve inspection capability, reliability, repeatability, and defect detection performance.
NOV is seeking an NDT Development Engineer to support the development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of nondestructive inspection technologies used in steel and tubular-product applications. This is a hands-on engineering and technology-development position for someone with experience applying ultrasonic and electromagnetic NDT methods to detect flaws in steel, combined with a strong engineering or physics foundation.
