Requisition Summary
Kenworth Division of PACCAR is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in gaining professional Product Planning experience in an industry-leading manufacturing company to join our internship Program in Kirkland, WA.
Internships are scheduled to begin May or June 2027

Job Functions / Responsibilities
This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:
- Assist in conducting market research to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for new products or product improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and operations, to help ensure successful product development and launch
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform product decisions
- Assist in the development of a forecasting tool
- Learn about the product development life cycle and product development process, including design, prototyping, and testing.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of customer-focused research events
Skills / Competencies
- Strong interest in the trucking industry and product planning
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform product decisions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of or some experience in Human Centered Design
- Comfortable and effective in interacting with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Strong professionalism
Education
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related fields
- Junior or senior standing preferred

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
