Front of House Team Leader

The Beacon | Perth, WA
Permanent Full Time

Why this role matters

For people experiencing homelessness, the first interaction with a service can shape their entire journey. A welcoming environment, a compassionate response and timely access to support can make an immediate and lasting difference.

As Front of House Team Leader at The Beacon, you will lead the team responsible for creating those critical first connections. Overseeing Intake and Assessment, Support Workers and the 21-Day Case Worker function, you will ensure people are met with dignity, respect and professional support from the moment they walk through the door.

This is an opportunity to lead a passionate team, influence service delivery and contribute to one of Western Australia's leading homelessness services. As a member of the leadership team, you will play an important role in shaping operational excellence, fostering a positive team culture and improving outcomes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

About the role

The Front of House Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all Front of House functions at The Beacon, including Intake and Assessment, Support Workers and the 21-Day Case Worker function. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 18 staff while ensuring service delivery aligns with strategic priorities, operational requirements and the National Homelessness Stream Model of Care.

You will provide leadership, coaching and support to your team, promote reflective practice and continuous improvement, develop strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with fellow leaders to ensure a coordinated and client-centred approach to service delivery. This role also includes responsibility for roster management and participation in an on-call leadership roster.

This permanent full-time position within The Beacon Emergency Accommodation and Referral Support Service, reporting to the Centre Manager. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 6.
