Photographer & Videographer (In-House)

The role
We're hiring an in-house, studio-based Full Stack Content Creator to shoot, edit and own the look of SPOKE's everyday content: ecom stills, social stills and video, from capture through to final retouch.
This is a maker role with real creative scope. You'll set and protect our house style, so that a SPOKE frame is instantly recognisable without needing to shout. You'll also react quickly to what our weekly trade data tells us: when a product starts flying, you're the person who works out what content will push it further, and then makes it.
What you'll do
Your time splits across four areas. The balance between stills and video will shift with what the business needs, and we'll agree it with you as we go.
- Ecom imagery, end to end
- Shoot all ecom product and on-model imagery in our studio.
- Own post-production and retouching.
- Keep ecom consistent, accurate and on time for every launch.
- House style
- Define and evolve the SPOKE house look: how we light, frame, dress and style a space so it tells a story and speaks to our DNA.
- Document it so it can be repeated across shoots, freelancers and partners.
- Lead styling on your shoots, working with our product team.
- Reactive stills and video
- Turn weekly trade insight into content fast: spot what's working and propose what to make next.
- Shoot ad hoc and on the fly for organic social, email and paid social.
- Keep a steady stream of organic social content flowing to support our social calendar.
- Paid social video
- Shoot and edit video built for paid placements.
- Work with our growth team to understand what's performing and build on it.
Requirements
What you'll bring
- A portfolio that shows both strong stills and video, with a clear point of view and real craft.
- Proven ecom photography experience, ideally at volume, plus confident retouching.
- Video shooting and editing skills for short-form social and paid formats.
- An eye for styling, set dressing and composition: you can make a simple frame do a lot.
- Energy and initiative. You come up with ideas and solutions without waiting for a detailed brief.
- Comfort working fast and reactively, alongside planned launches.
- A collaborative attitude: you take feedback well and work easily with designers and marketers.
You might be an ecom photographer at a larger brand who wants more creative scope, or a freelancer working across stills and video who wants a steady home. Both are welcome.
Nice to have
- Menswear or fashion experience.
- Campaign or editorial photography alongside ecom.
- Experience shooting UGC-style or creator-led content.
- Basic lighting and studio setup knowledge for a small, flexible space.
- Interest in growing into art direction over time.
