We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as AML/KYC Officer Reporting to the Conducting Officer, Portfolio Management, this full time, temporary fixed term position is based in Luxembourg and offers local coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our Funds business and its growth.
Purpose of Role
As AML/KYC Officer of an AIFM, and in line with the CSSF Circular 18/698 you will support the Portfolio Management Function to develop and control processes that relate to:
- The assets due diligence, and identification of counterparties in the context of portfolio level l transactions.
- The oversight of AML related activities, the monitoring of dedicated Compliance Key Risk Indicators.
- Compliance related controls which are part the regulatory obligations of an AIFM.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary AIFM contact for all AML/CFT controls on the portfolio investment / assets due diligence and ongoing due diligence.
- To support the Portfolio Management function and Compliance function with the monitoring of compliance with regulatory requirements such as maintenance and regular updates of the AIFM AML related procedures and sample testing.
- To participate to regulatory and compliance developments and ensure the AIFM updates its controls to match the latest standards.
- To assist with other ad‐hoc tasks in connection with the development of the regulatory framework, AML/CTF matters and the AIFM's activities, onboarding of funds with existing assets.
- To be a team player and build strong and durable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Attributes and Technical Skills
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience (audit firm; lawyer; private sector; third party AIFM; Central Administration or similar) and an exposure to oversight and AML/KYC.
- Solid knowledge of the Luxembourg asset management and compliance legal framework, including AML/KYC.
- Highly detail oriented, thorough, concise, with excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability and eagerness to learn quickly.
- A self‐starter, can-do attitude, willing to take ownership in processes/projects. Ability to work in a very dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Able to draft report in plain English
- Take initiative by proactively and consistently following up on daily matters.
- Anticipate potential queries and issues. Address these in a timely manner by informing the responsible colleagues.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly learn and build working relations.

Relevant Experience
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience (audit firm; lawyer; private sector; third party AIFM; Central Administration or similar) and an exposure to oversight and AML/KYC.
Education/Memberships
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, legal, economics or business administration.
