Description and Requirements

Role Summary

The ISG Services Lead will develop and execute the business and people strategies required to grow Lenovo’s services business in India. This sales leadership role carries revenue-quota responsibility and focuses on services sales, IaaS, private cloud, system integration, and managed services.

You will work across sales, marketing, channels, business units, and customer organisations to strengthen the services portfolio, improve commercial execution, and achieve financial and non-financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the ISG services strategy for India, aligned with annual revenue, growth, and operational objectives.
Own assigned revenue quotas and drive sales execution with the extended sales organisation to achieve or exceed targets.
Manage significant Annual Contract Value (ACV) and Total Contract Value (TCV) opportunities across the services portfolio.
Evaluate pricing, proposals, practices, and processes to improve commercial quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Execute strategic sales and marketing programmes covering new offerings, Professional Services, channel events, customer seminars, and industry conferences.
Provide market insights to business-unit leadership on customer requirements, portfolio opportunities, market direction, and pricing strategy.
Build executive-level relationships and represent Lenovo in customer, reseller, partner, and industry engagements.
Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve processes, systems, budgets, schedules, and overall business performance.

Skills & Experience

Must-have

20+ years of sales experience across Data Center products, Hybrid Cloud, System Integration, and Services.
Proven leadership experience in direct and channel-supported sales environments.
Strong commercial understanding of Managed Services, System Integration, IaaS, and channel-partner business models.
Demonstrated experience managing sales forecasts, business plans, revenue quotas, and defined business objectives.
Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and executive-influencing capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex proposals and programmes clearly to customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
Experience leading cross-functional work and addressing complex commercial or operational issues.

Good-to-have

Strong understanding of software-industry developments and their impact on customer IT requirements.
Experience shaping services portfolios and contributing to pricing decisions.
Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
Collaborative, customer-focused leadership style with openness to feedback and the confidence to challenge established approaches constructively.
