Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
- About the role
Lead Malaysia's Commercial Planning and Revenue Growth Management agenda to deliver sustainable and profitable growth. The role serves as the custodian of commercial performance, leading the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, driving commercial performance leadership, and identifying opportunities to optimise revenue, trade investment, and profitability across the business. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to translate business strategy into actionable plans and deliver superior commercial outcomes.
- Your responsibilities
- Commercial Planning & IBP Leadership
- Lead the Malaysia Commercial Planning agenda and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
- Align Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain behind a single integrated business plan.
- Identify risks, opportunities and gap-closing actions to support delivery of business targets.
- Drive cross-functional alignment, accountability and planning governance.
- Commercial Performance Leadership
- Lead commercial performance reviews and monitor delivery against commercial and financial targets.
- Translate business insights into actionable recommendations and corrective actions.
- Challenge assumptions and ensure robust action plans are in place to address performance gaps.
- Act as the custodian of commercial performance, ensuring decisions are grounded in data, financial discipline and business priorities.
- Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
- Lead the RGM agenda across pricing, promotions, trade investment optimisation and portfolio profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin and overall business performance.
- Drive productivity initiatives and commercial excellence programmes.
- Build RGM capability and embed best practices across the organisation.
- The experience we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare, consumer goods or related industries.
- Proven experience in Commercial Planning, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Marketing, Commercial Finance or other commercial leadership roles.
- Strong Revenue Growth Management (RGM) fundamentals, including pricing, promotion effectiveness, trade investment optimisation and profitability management.
- Experience leading cross-functional planning processes such as IBP, S&OP or commercial planning forums.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Leadership & Capability Requirements
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business performance into commercial actions.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert insights into practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of ownership, accountability and collaboration.
