About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
As a Manager within HR Managed Services, you will lead end-to-end HR transformation and operational delivery engagements, helping organizations design, build, transition, and run scalable HR service delivery models.
You will drive service excellence through governance, operational performance management, continuous improvement, workforce optimization, and technology-enabled process transformation. Partnering with senior stakeholders, you will shape strategic transformation agendas while ensuring sustainable operational outcomes.
In parallel, you will play a key role in growing the HR Managed Services practice through solution innovation, business development, client pursuits, and the development of market-leading managed service offerings.
Your Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership & HR Transformation
- Lead current-state assessments, transformation diagnostics and business case development for HR service delivery initiatives.
- Design integrated future-state HR operating models covering processes, organization, governance, service management and enabling capabilities.
- Lead stakeholder workshops, decision forums and executive-level discussions to align priorities and resolve design issues.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, implementation plans and change approaches that are practical and sustainable.
HR Shared Services & Service Centre Set-up
- Lead the design and set-up of HR Shared Services or HR Service Centres, including scope, service catalogue, organization structure, role design, governance, interaction models and service management frameworks.
- Oversee process standardization, SOP and playbook development, transition planning, knowledge transfer, training, operational readiness and stabilization.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, reporting and governance mechanisms, and establish continuous improvement routines.
- Identify opportunities for simplification, automation and self-service without making technology implementation a prerequisite.
Client, Delivery & People Leadership
- Own engagement delivery, financials, quality, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations across one or more workstreams.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and collaborate with EY member firms and multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead, coach and develop project teams, ensuring clear accountability and high-quality deliverables.
- Provide subject matter guidance and challenge teams to develop insight-led, outcome-focused recommendations.
Practice Development & Business Growth
- Lead or significantly contribute to proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution design, commercials, effort estimates and client presentations.
- Identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts and support pipeline development and pursuit strategy.
- Develop market-relevant offerings, thought leadership, methodologies, credentials and reusable assets.
- Contribute to capability building, knowledge management and the growth of the HR Managed Services practice.
Skills and attributes for success
- Deep understanding of end-to-end HR processes, HR service delivery, Shared Services and HR operating models.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR transformation, process redesign and service centre design or set-up engagements.
- Strong consulting, executive stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Ability to shape ambiguous business problems into clear solutions, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Strong engagement management, commercial awareness, team leadership and quality management capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal and executive presentation skills.
- Open to travel nationally and internationally for approved client projects in line with EY and country-specific travel advisory guidelines.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- 10-14 years of experience in HR Transformation, HR operations, HR Shared Services or consulting.
- Master’s degree in HR or a full-time MBA/EMBA.
- Hands-on experience leading HR operating model design, Shared Services advisory, service centre set-up and transition.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, teams and senior stakeholders across global engagements.
- Experience in process excellence, benchmarking, business case development and benefits realization.
- Proven contribution to proposals, client pursuits, account growth or the development of consulting offerings.
- Experience working with a Big 4 or comparable professional services organization.
