Main eligibility rules

• Nationality: citizenship of a European Economic Area country.
• Age: registration before the 28th birthday, with departure no later than the 29th birthday.
• Education: a completed Master’s degree is required by FORVIA.
• Other conditions: compliance with national service obligations, civic rights, a clean criminal record, medical fitness and applicable host-country requirements

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Forvia Interiors is looking for a Sales Engineer VIE to be based in its site of Gothenburg in Sweden. As a Sales Engineer VIE, you will support the Sales team in managing customer relationships and commercial activities. You will work closely with internal teams to prepare competitive offers, monitor commercial performance and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities

• Support day-to-day customer interactions and follow up on commercial requests.
• Help prepare quotations and commercial offers, consolidating inputs from Costing, Engineering and Program teams.
• Support the assessment of engineering changes and their impact on prices, tooling and development costs.
• Update sales forecasts, commercial dashboards and customer-related reporting.
• Contribute to monitoring program profitability and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Follow up on purchase orders, invoicing and outstanding payments with the relevant teams.
• Prepare customer meetings, presentations and action plans.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• First experience or internship in Sales, Project Management or an industrial environment would be an advantage.
• Interest in the automotive industry and customer-facing roles.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with figures.
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, organised and eager to learn in an international environment.
