Location: On-Site Hillsboro, OR
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Compensation: $50k-55k annually
About the Role
Are you an Excel expert who loves solving problems, analyzing data, and finding smarter ways to work? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Data Coordinator to support payroll accuracy while helping improve reporting, bonus calculations, and system functionality.
This role goes beyond traditional payroll administration. You’ll work with large datasets, develop advanced Workday expertise, and identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology and automation.
What You’ll Do
- Support accurate and timely payroll processing, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Calculate and validate bonuses, commissions, and other variable compensation.
- Build and maintain reports using advanced Excel functions, PivotTables, and Power Query.
- Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Partner with Payroll and HRIS teams to troubleshoot issues and improve Workday functionality.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve existing processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR, reporting, or another data-focused role.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines and handle confidential information.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Preferred: Experience with Workday, Power Query, SQL, Python, VBA, Power Automate, or other automation tools.
