Key Responsibilities
Production Stability and Issue Resolution
- Provide timely SAP and manufacturing systems production support and enhancements for manufacturing operations, performing triage, escalation, and resolution to minimize downtime, with ad hoc travel when in-person support is required.
- Resolve transactional issues such as production order errors, material consumption variances, and inventory mismatches, following established triage and escalation procedures to maintain operational continuity. All team members support every SAP module, with a designated primary in each area.
Manufacturing Process Execution
- Execute and support daily SAP transactions, manufacturing system activities, and related manufacturing business processes across production, materials, quality, maintenance, logistics, configuration, and reporting areas, ensuring production data is entered, processed, validated, and reconciled correctly according to established procedures.
- Support period-end readiness activities and maintain standardized controls to strengthen data accuracy, reporting reliability, and end-to-end manufacturing process execution.
Shop Floor Systems and Integration Support
- Support shop floor systems, production tracking tools, and facility-facing manufacturing applications that integrate with SAP and related manufacturing systems. Validate end-to-end data flow between operational systems, SAP, and manufacturing systems to ensure alignment across production execution, inventory movement, labeling, traceability, quality, and reporting processes. Escalate and document integration issues with clear detail to maintain alignment between physical production activities, facility workflows, and system records.
Data Integrity and Inventory Accuracy
- Validate material movements and inventory balances, flag quantity mismatches, batch errors, and transactional discrepancies, and support master data maintenance to improve confidence in inventory valuation, costing, and reporting.
Continuous Improvement Support
- Support testing and validation of SAP enhancements, manufacturing system changes, and process improvements.
- Document recurring issues and participate in root cause analysis activities, assist with process standardization initiatives, and identify automation opportunities to enable operational improvement and support continuous growth.

- Communicate clearly on issue status, impact, and resolution, and escalate with sufficient detail to support fast resolution.
- Operate with a “day-in-the-life” mindset and understand real shop floor workflows and constraints and what will drive adoption on the floor.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of experience in manufacturing operations, ERP or SAP support, or a related systems role.
- Familiarity with shop floor systems such as scanners, barcode tracking, or MES interfaces.
- Strong attention to detail with transactional data, inventory accuracy, and process compliance.

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot transactional issues, document findings, follow escalation procedures, and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of inventory movements, production execution, shop floor processes, or material tracking activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to support data accuracy, process compliance, and issue resolution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities as needed for critical support, testing, training, go live, or process validation activities.
Preferred Skills
