Transportation Analyst

We are looking for a Transportation Analyst to join our Transport & Logistics team at our European Distribution Center in Machelen. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing transportation performance, supporting strategic decisions through data analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and cost efficiency.

What You'll Do
As a Transportation Analyst, you will:
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to support decision-making
- Create and optimize Power BI dashboards to provide actionable business insights
- Monitor transportation spend and support freight budget planning and follow-up
- Evaluate carrier and supplier performance against service and cost targets
- Perform data-driven simulations and analyses for new transportation scenarios and vendors
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, service, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve transportation processes and performance
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution environments
- Knowledge of transportation pricing, freight operations, parcel, or air freight
- Experience with TMS solutions
- Knowledge of Business Objects, Power Query, Microsoft Automate, or similar reporting tools
- Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement
- Dutch language skills
