Better Decisions Begin with You

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

Launch Your Career in Commercial Risk Consulting

Join Aon as a Commercial Risk Consulting graduate and, from day one, you’ll be an integral part of either our Strategic Engagement (Inpoint) or Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) team. You’ll help clients navigate complex business challenges, handle risk and make better-informed decisions.

Strategic Engagement (Inpoint):

Inpoint is Aon’s carrier engagement and management business, working primarily with insurers across Commercial Risk. Our teams use market insight, portfolio analytics and Aon’s broader capabilities to build stronger, more strategic relationships with carrier partners.

Strategic Engagement is focused on helping Aon and its carrier partners identify shared priorities, understand portfolio performance and turn insight into meaningful action. This is not a traditional strategy consulting role. It is a relationship-led, data-informed opportunity at the centre of Aon’s engagement with the insurance market.

As a Strategic Engagement Graduate, you will work with colleagues across Strategy & Technology Group (STG), the Global Broking Centre (GBC) and Commercial Risk UK. You will help prepare insight for senior conversations with insurers, support engagement on portfolio opportunities and contribute to initiatives that strengthen how Aon and its carrier partners work together.

The role offers exposure to senior leaders across Aon and the insurance market. It also provides the chance to build a strong understanding of commercial insurance, carrier priorities, broking, and portfolio dynamics.

What You Will Do

Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS):

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and other event-driven situations can be complex, time-critical and highly specialised. The AMATS team typically assists clients in three core areas, prior to, during and/or after completion of an M&A deal or other investment opportunity, by:

The clients include financial sponsors  and Corporates, with transaction sizes ranging from small UK domestic deals (such as Voyage Care’s acquisition of Orchard Healthcare) to some of the largest cross-border transactions (such as KONE’s $34.4 billion combination with TK Elevators). Further deal examples can be found on Aon’s LinkedIn page.

You’ll gain exposure to several parts of our transaction advisory and broking business to help build your understanding of why clients implement M&A deals and how Aon supports their business and investment objectives.

What You Will Do

What is Aon's guidance of the use of AI during the selection process?

As an innovative global leader, we recognize and embrace the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help job seekers be more efficient in their recruitment processes. In fact, Aon is in the business of developing and implementing innovative AI tools that support both colleagues and clients, which you’ll use as an Aon colleague if you join our team.

AI can be a helpful tool for researching Aon, preparing for interviews or refining your CV, it should support, not replace, your own thinking, judgement, skills and experiences. Any application materials you submit should accurately reflect your achievements, capabilities and potential.

We ask that you refrain from using AI when completing assessments or during live or pre-recorded interview processes, which will often include an in-person interview where the technology will not be available to you. Additionally, virtual or in-person interviews should not be recorded or transcribed.

At Aon, we foster a culture of inclusiveness, fairness and transparency. We expect all candidates to embrace these principles in every interaction with us.

Can I apply for more than one programme or role?

We ask candidates to submit one Early Carers application per recruitment cycle. We encourage you to explore our opportunities carefully and apply for the programme or role that best matches your skills, interests and career goals. This helps you focus on submitting your strongest application and ensures we can assess candidates fairly and efficiently.

If, during the selection process, we believe another opportunity at Aon may be a better fit for your experience and aspirations, our recruitment team may discuss alternative options with you.

If you're unsure which programme is right for you, we recommend reviewing the programme information on our careers site or attending one of our events before applying.
