Manufacturing Engineer Senior

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer Senior.

JOB DUTIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for the HERO-120 unmanned aerial vehicles.
You may be responsible for the design arrangement of equipment within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
You may be responsible for estimating manufacturing cost, determining time standards and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
You will evaluate and incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan as needed.
Inspect performance of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
You will be responsible for working closely with the customer to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Coordinate with customer to resolve any production issues that may stem from customer furnished material.
Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations including Manufacturing Bill of Materials.
