There is an increasing focus on rural areas and on general geriatrics expertise in rural areas through Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO)-style training.

Additionally, the Director of Operations will oversee the Program’s Evaluation Core to evaluate the overall success and impact of the program, especially in the realm of post-funding sustainability and continuity. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker with a problem-solving mindset who can independently prioritize all assignments and keep the Director informed. They are highly resourceful, and a thought leader who will contribute to the overall success of Dementia Care Aware and those with evaluation experience in training, education, and health programs are highly preferred.
