Job Title: Senior Executive – IT – Application Specialist – PAS 

Department: Information Technology

Key Duties 

Support and maintain PAS-related applications and workflows in the Hospital Information System, preferably TrakCare. Work with Patient Administration, Front Office, RCM, Billing, Insurance, Operations, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality.

Main Responsibilities

•  Provide functional support for PAS-related applications and workflows.
•  Support patient registration, appointment, admission, discharge, transfer, and
• encounter management.
•  Support workflows related to patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and
• authorization.
•  Understand the impact of PAS transactions on billing, patient share,
• insurance claims, and revenue cycle processes.
•  Support charge capture and billing-related workflows linked to patient
• registration and encounters.
•  Analyse and troubleshoot issues related to patient accounts, encounters,
• payer information, and billing.
•  Gather requirements from PAS, Front Office, RCM, Billing, and Operations
• users.
•  Support application configuration and approved system changes.
•  Prepare test scenarios and perform system testing and UAT.
•  Coordinate with users, IT teams, RCM/Finance teams, and vendors for issue
• resolution.
•  Provide user training and demonstrations.
•  Identify workflow gaps and suggest improvements.
•  Provide post-implementation and day-to-day application support.

• Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in IT.
•  Healthcare application experience is preferred.

• Experience
•  2–5 years of experience in Hospital Information Systems or healthcare
• applications.
•  TrakCare experience is preferred.
•  Experience in PAS, registration, appointment, ADT, billing, insurance, or RCM
• workflows is preferred.

• Skills Required
•  Good understanding of PAS and hospital workflows.
•  Good understanding of RCM, billing, insurance, and claims workflows.
•  Application support and troubleshooting.
•  Good communication and coordination skills.
•  Analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  User training and documentation skills.
