AVP Actuary

Reporting to the Chief Actuary, Bermuda Operations, the AVP Actuary is a senior technical role contributing to the pricing and portfolio analytics for Chubb Tempest Re’s third-party and affiliate reinsurance transactions.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the pricing of third-party property catastrophe treaties and affiliate reinsurance transactions across all lines of business.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and portfolio analytics tools to support and evaluate underwriting decision-making.
- Perform quantitative analysis to support outwards retrocessional placements.
- Contribute actuarial insight on pricing strategy and capital allocation in collaboration with underwriting and corporate teams.
- Special projects to improve the underwriting process for all lines of business.
- Reporting on a periodic basis to satisfy internal management and external regulatory requirements.
