Schedule:  Full-time, Monday - Friday and rotating weekends

Work with a purpose! Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, TX. We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release. 

What you'll do: You'll be responsible for clerical tasks related to records administration. The position does involve working around detainees. Additional duties include:

• Prepare and review intake packets. Proofread records or forms including arrival and release files; copy needed information from one record to another as required.
• Operate office equipment such as computers, fax machine, and copy machine.
• Perform input and output operations and make adjustments necessary to ensure schedules are met.
• Perform duties including typing correspondence, form letters, accountability forms, status reports and input/output forms in a timely manner.
• Perform data entry and proofread records or forms.
• Maintain files on department records, cards, forms and correspondence sent, received and/or requiring further action.
• Regular attendance required.
• Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
• Maintain accountability of detainees and property; adhere to safety practices.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and computer proficiency required. 
• One (1) year of clerical, administrative or related experience, including computer data entry experience is preferred. 
• Must have successfully complete required preservice training. 
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
