Brand Design Intern (New York)

We’re seeking talented students to join Sonos’s Internship Program and explore what it means to blend creativity, technology, and sound. Our interns are an essential part of our team, bringing fresh ideas, learning from experts, and helping us push the boundaries of what’s possible. Come broaden your skills, share your input and pursue your passion with our 11-week internship experience.
Work Period: June 7 - August 20, 2027
Location & Schedule: This is a 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite in our New York, NY office. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Your time here will flex with what the team is working on and what you’re curious about. You might:
- Support the BPM design team with digital design assets
- Create web, email, and ecommerce assets for live campaigns
- Develop social posts that fit Sonos brand and voice
- Support brand design work and observe the design process with the BPM team
- Own an intern project built around your interests
- Review your project with a Designer and Design Director
- Work alongside the copywriting intern to develop the project in collaboration
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Basic Qualifications
- Strong typography, layout, and composition skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest in brand design and visual storytelling
- Communicative and excited to learn
- Curious, collaborative, and open to feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Motion design experience
- Familiarity with email or ecommerce design
- Passion for music + movies!
PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a College or University in a related field of study, with expected graduation date of Winter 2027/2028 or Spring 2028/2029.
- Available to participate in our co-op program from June 7 - August 20, 2027
- Ability to work out of our New York office a minimum 4 days per week
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future. Sonos is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role at this time.
