The Opportunity
Build the modular, reusable ServiceNow solutions that power Homecare Homebase's business initiatives. As ServiceNow Developer, you'll understand, design, develop, configure, update and maintain solutions on the platform, partnering closely with platform owners, architects, administrators and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and user-focused solutions across ITSM, CSM and related ServiceNow capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines strong platform development experience with modern AI-assisted development practices, including ServiceNow AI capabilities, automation tooling and agentic AI products, to accelerate delivery and improve solution quality. The role calls for strong collaboration skills, adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to support the evolving ServiceNow ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and the ServiceNow roadmap.
- Develop, test and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
- Assist with ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes, and create and run tests.
- Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years as a ServiceNow Developer with experience developing in the following areas:
- ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog
- Service Portals
- Flow Designer, Workflow, Virtual Agent Topics, Integration Hub
- Application integrations using APIs, web services, scripts, transform maps, etc.
- Scoped Applications
- Scripting in ServiceNow
- Test Management and ATF
- ITOM: Event Management, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping
- 1+ years as a member of an Agile, Scrum or Kanban team.
- Broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology, including typical application, server and networking configurations.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework, especially as it pertains to the CMDB model and governance.
- Comprehension of the ServiceNow CSDM model.
- Experience designing and deploying AI solutions on and off the ServiceNow platform, with strong AI prompt engineering skills.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of database fundamentals.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow System Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CSM (Case Management, Agent Workspace, Communities), Performance Analytics and Dashboards, Workspaces, Reporting, Active Directory/PowerShell, Transform Maps and AI Control Tower.
- Relevant certifications, such as:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ITIL Foundations
- ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
- ServiceNow Advanced System Administration
- Scripting in ServiceNow
- CCNA or equivalent
- MCSA, RHCSA (Microsoft, RedHat)
